How To Use This Store

Shopping at Rap Sheet.com

To shop: choose a category from the store menu above. Once you click on a category, products in that category will be displayed on the screen. Click on a product to find out more about it and to add it to your shopping basket. Items can be deleted on the shopping basket screen as well. When you are ready to purchase it, click on the shopping cart icon in the store menu on the far right, and then click on "checkout".

Searching

To search for a specific item/itmes, you can use the store's "search" feature. In you know the name of the product you can enter it in the field. Such as the name of an artist. If you are looking for a specific item in a certain category you could type in "cds", "mp3","vinyl","t-shirts". etc and you'll be presented with all the items in that category.

Credit Cards

Rap Sheet.com has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software which is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure online commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet. We do not store your credit card info, which is why you must type it in every time. We do this so you'll never have to worry about your credit card info being stolen off our servers.

Downloadable Items

There are no shipping charges for downloadable items such as ebooks, music, etc. Once you're credit card is approved, you will be shipped a url where you can obtain your download from. You will only be allowed to download the item 2 times. If you have not downloaded the item 72 hours after recieving the conformation email, the link will expire and you won't be able to download the item. All items available for download will have a ".zip" extension which can be opened with Winzip for Windows or Zipit for Macintosh. Downloadable music will be in mp3 format which can be played on a variety of portable and software mp3 players. For a list of software players, visit Cnet Downloads. Documents such as contracts and short text items will be in ".txt" form which can be read with any word processor or with Note Pad on Windows and Simple Text on the Macintosh. Ebooks are available in ".pdf" format and requires the free plugin, Arcobat Reader.

Shipping Of Merchandise

All items are shipped by UPS. The weight , distance, and shipping options will determine the cost of the final order. International shipping charges do not include any taxes, duties or customs fees that may be charged by your local government upon delivery. By law we must declare all international packages for their correct value. Please check your local post office in advance about their policies. We try to process and ship all orders within 2-3 business days, so most US orders should arrive within 1-2 weeks time (2-3 weeks for international orders). Many orders can and do arrive sooner.

Backordered And Out Of Stock Items

Backordered merchandise includes items that are not currently in stock. These items are either on order with our manufacturers or are being searched for among our many sources of supply. We will ship the merchandise that is in stock and when we receive the back ordered or out of stock items, we notify you via email and ship it to you promptly and free of charge.

Refunds, Returns, Damaged Items

We do not offer any refunds or returns. If an item is damaged, ship the the item back to Rap Sheet and we will replace it with the same title and format of the previous purchase.
